During the 2nd weekend of August, the Swedish Boxer Winners Show 2015 will be held at Tånga Hed near Vårgårda (70 km northeast of Gothenburg). Three days will be packed with Boxer activities.
On Friday afternoon the Weekend Program will be opened with ‘Pomp and Circumstance’, followed by the Obedience Class 1 to Elite event. After the Prize Award Ceremony, a Barbecue will set off a great ‘get together’ of Boxer friends.
Saturday’s Program will start early with the Working Dog Boxer teams setting off for different activities like Tracking, Search and IPO, and later returning to Tånga Hed for Obedience and the Protection Dog Trial. The Prize Award will take place early evening, and then it is Party time for the gathered Boxer Community.
Sunday is dedicated to the Boxer Winners Show. This year the Puppy Classes will be judged on Sunday together the adult entries. This means that Puppy Classes will be open for puppies between 4 and 9 months. The male judge will also judge the Puppy Classes 4-6 and 6-9 months.
We will begin the Sunday Program with a Veteran’s Parade, and thereafter the judging will commence in two rings; one with adult male and puppy classes, and the other with adult bitch classes. The exhibits will be shown in the rings by their handlers and examined by judges with special know-how of Boxers.

Dr. Bozhidar Velikoff
Born in 1970 I graduated Veterinary Medicine and work and live in Varna. I first fell in love with the breed and had my first boxer and litter in 1991. Then in 1999 I participated in establishing the Bulgarian Boxer Club and have presided over it since then. In 2004 the FCI “from Black Sea kennel” was registered. I have been a FCI boxer and Boston terrier judge since 2006 and judged shows both in the country and abroad. Meanwhile I take an active part in Varna Kennel Society Board and the Bulgarian National Kennel Society. As their member I am also involved in encouraging and promoting breeding and use of purebred dogs writing articles for specialized magazines and contributing in other media.
