Nigel Rallings

I was brought up with boxers as both my parents and grand parents owned them as family pets. On marriage to my wife Liz we purchased our first boxer in 1977. 

Our first boxer introduced us to the world of showing, we registered our kennel name ‘Zenmaxkay’ with the English Kennel Club in 1979.

We have been actively involved in showing and breeding boxers since 1977. In the early years our showing was restricted to the UK but since the relaxation of the quarantine regulations we have also shown at the major European boxer shows. We have been fortunate to have had some success in the show rings with boxers owned and bred by us gaining there champion titles in a number of countries.

We have since 1981 yearly visited the major boxer European Jharresieger shows and Atibox and have imported boxers from Holland, Belgium and Italy & Russia. 

My judging career began in 1991 since when I have progressed through the English judges system to being approved to judge at Championship Shows I have had the opportunity  and pleasure to not only judge in the UK but also in a number of European countries including Boxer Jharessiegers and Atibox. 

I am also the Secretary and Treasurer of the Midland Boxer Club and have been since 1994. In this capacity I am involved in the organisation of boxer club championship shows.
